![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Weyrbowl (5 sub-boards) The rim of the Weyrbowl stretches high into the sky, and there is only one entrance from the outside leading in unless arriving a'dragonback and gliding down into the wide bowl itself. There are many ledges were dragon's are often found sunbathing, and the lake is the dominating feature of the bowl where one can often find new Weyrlings scrubbing the hides of their new mates.
From the bowl people can access the Lower Caverns, the Weyrling Barracks, and find access to stairs leading up to the tier upon tier of dragon weyrs.
There is a stable and paddock for herdbeasts in the bowl also where sick dragons or rising dragons can find prey, and where the Weyr's Beast Crafters are often hard at work. The herdbeasts are generally kept for the new Weyrlings whose dragons have yet to start flying or hunting.

![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Lower Caverns (6 sub-boards) Leading down from an opening in the Weyrbowl wall, into the rock of the mountain itself are the lower caverns. Firstly, one would reach the dining cavern, and past that are located the kitchens where drudges work all hours of the day and night keeping stews warming in large cauldrons over fires and hot klah for the thirsty.
Aside from these two main areas are the tunnels themselves. One tunnel leading to a large underground cavern and one would be cautioned to bring a good basket of glows before venturing further. However it seems recently the many branching tunnels have all been closed up and caved in. A harsh reality to all those would-be criminals that their secret passageways are all gone.

![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Rim High above the cradle of the Weyrbowl ringing the top portion is the Rim. Big enough by far to allow every dragon plenty of "wing-room", it overlooks the Weyrbowl and has a great view of the surrounding area as well. Riders and other folk often like to rock climb the face of the Weyrbowl and reach the Rim as their reward.

![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | The Weyrbowl (2 sub-boards) A perpetual layer of mist covers the floor of the Weyrbowl, and through it a multitude of objects can be seen. In recent months, more and more of these objects have disappeared.
Unlike most Weyrs, this Weyrbowl cannot easily be accessed from the ground for the tithing entrance is blocked by a rock slide. There seems to be no ground entrance into this Weyr, the main entrance where the tithe wagons should come from is blocked by a landslide of rocks. How those without dragons get into the Weyr is unknown to outsiders.
Despite the residents cleaning crews working on the debris, there are still many objects laying scattered across the grounds. Anything particularly useful has been removed, the rest, broken and abandoned by their original owners are mell-pell across the Weyrbowl.
Rumor has it there is a direct way through the mountains to Great Cliffs Weyr here, however that has not been verified.

![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Lower Caverns (3 sub-boards) Many of the caverns in the lower part of the Weyr have fallen into disrepair, and there are several that have collapsed completely. The Candidate Barracks still have an infestation of crawlers and bed-bugs, so are not fit for human use.
Those who consider themselves Candidates make their homes either in the lower tiers of weyrs or in the caverns where the Weyrfolk live.
