Craft Halls
These are the sacred Halls of learning and Craft are scattered throughout all of Pern boast the best of the best when it comes to Crafters. The Master Craft of the various Crafts lives in these Halls, or within runner's distance, and often can be found teaching the most dedicated and promising of students.

(When you want to walk the tables...)
Yes indeed there is a place to go if you want to further your career as a Crafter. It doesn't matter if you have Impressed a dragon or not, just come and train with people who know more about the Craft than you do.
If you have a mentor available (someone of higher rank than you in your Craft) that's in this area, just keep training with them. When they think you're ready, they'll recommend you to the various Halls where you will walk the tables in an official ceremony, and be given your new knots.
When you're done, you can come back here and officially be a higher rank.
((I highly recommend this site for those Crafters who want to add more realism in the time and dedication it would take to truly walk the tables.))
