Was thinking about adding in a Gold Sun but that seemed a bit too much.
Name: Korijenta

Appearance: At 5’10”, Korijenta is your average giant. In terms of figure, she’s gained child-bearing hips from her mother and a nearly-flat chest from her father. This leads to the Candidate wearing lots of blouses with short skirts or knee-length dresses with long sleeves. Her favorite colors are purple and red but due to lack of funds her wardrobe is limited to cheap earthly shades and creamy whites. Still, this plays off of her dirty-blond hair and deep auburn eyes. Usually her thin hair is thrown into a low, practical ponytail to keep it out of her square face, but Kori secretly likes it better when it’s getting in the way.
Personality:Korijenta has an active imagination. It’s not to say she has her head in the clouds; the girl actually has a fairly firm grip on reality when need be. But when her brain gets bored, it starts cooking up crazy concoctions that would hardly be thought of otherwise. This can be a useful trait when problem-solving and socializing, but everywhere else it might get in the way and Kori needs to work hard to keep it in check.
Other than that, this Candidate is a relatively intelligent person who is a little quick to judge and can get stubborn if challenged outright. Her grudges last until the end of time, but it’s pretty hard to irk Korijenta (unless you challenge her outright)so most people are alright with her. Dragons, gore and politics (unless outright challenging) fascinate her while whers, beards and the heat disgust her.

One is never truly alone at a Hold, especially with a family the size of Korijenta's. Though she was one of the first-born in her generation, the girl managed to find friends in her older relatives, especially her Grandfather and Uncle. They say she gained her creativity from her Papa, who would weave intricate stories into his wood pieces and then describe them to her, and her love of dragons from her Uncle O'ille, a Searchrider. The accidental death of her Papa Rigo was hard on Kori, but not as hard some of the less open-minded folks at the Field Hold were. (Why should a young girl be hanging out with an elderly, manly Master Crafter anyway?) This began the soft prejudice that the Candidate still feels today towards Holders.
Due to her close relationship with O'ille, Korijenta was Searched by Rioth at the earliest age possible and toted off to Telgar Weyr. Thanks to the Weyr’s large size, she stood at numerous Hatchings and has gained a vast knowledge about Weyrlife, but has yet to Impress. Her uncle took pity (like usual) and pulled a few strings, granting the Candidate a flit from one of they Weyr’s gold clutches. Korijenta purposely attempted to pick a blue in honor of Rioth and succeeded; Sky now became an addition to her family.
About two turns later, Kori was exploring the Cliffs by Telgar inbetween duties and Clutches to subdue her boredom. She came across what was unbeknownst to her an abandoned green flit clutch. She took the clutch back to the Weyr and was granted two eggs of her choice. She picked to two largest eggs which hatched to be Earth and Sky, the last flit additions to her group of hooligans.
But time was still quickly running out on Impressing age, the Candidate ushered her uncle into transferring to Great Cliffs Weyr; an open opportunity now that their Sr. Weyrleader had caught their Jr. Weyrwoman. Not only would it help O’ille in recuperating from the recent loss of her Weyrmate, but the new Weyr had a Clutch ready to go on the Sands. Now she counts down the days until supposed Hatching on a piece of hide near her cot, a tradition of hers since Searching.
