Shards and flame it all! Just when I had control of the situation.
Kiletri couldn't help but glower in Lesu's direction, and hoped Crimson Fist wouldn't harbor any vengeful thoughts that might compromise the agreement she'd just garnered. It would be a shame to waste all of that innuendo and resort to more violent methods. She really didn't have any more patience than he did just more restraint towards her more savage impulses. Meeting expectations, she kicked herself into gear and tried to flank Lesu, but she understood what he was going to do a few moments before he went and did it, changing her tack and making a beeline for him. However, she didn't expect him to go under the railings. She probably could have caught up if he'd lost the time vaulting over, and she and to smirk; clever move.
Kiletri halted at the edge, bumping into the railings and leaning over as far as she could without going for a swim herself, but it was too dark to see where he went. They'd have to wait until he surfaced... and then what? If he was a strong swimmer all he had to do was stick close to the shore and come up on shore anywhere or find another pier and stowaway in the hold of the boat for a night. Yet... the water had to be freezing, that upped his desperation to get out of it.
Love... fancy a swim? Just be subtle. Kiletri sure as the sun in the sky did not fancy taking a cold bath.
It would be easy for Jaraith to get into and out of the water. It was just a matter of getting to Lesu, it was doubtful she'd fit under the dock.
Maybe just hover. He won't be expecting that just look and listen and be patient. When you fishing 'patience' really was the key word.
Jaraith took off without a fuss, but it was going to be hard to hover without a fuss so she settled for landing on the beach right in the surf. There was another strategy she could deploy, but she wasn't sure how well it would work. Wait and see would be the game to play for the moment.
"Well... this is fun..." Kiletri offered with a side of sarcasm, keeping an eye on her 'comrade' to see what he might try and pull. Unsure of how he would handle or try to handle this situation.
I am sleeping for a sevenday after this to recover my peace of mind.
