Description: When one first notices Auroen it is generally because of her height. Auroen is approximately 5'8 perhaps a bit more. Her frame is tall and then muscular. Though the muscle she does have didn't come from dragonriding, and she has probably lost some even though she tries to maintain at least some of it. Her skin is lightly tanned, and her hands tend to be on the more calloused side rather than smooth. Auroen has a thread scar on her right shoulder, and another very light scar on her right forearm. There is scarring on her back, but it is most definitely not from thread. No doubt painful reminders of her past. The second thing one tends to notice about Auroen is her eyes. They are clear emerald green, and they often appear unsettling, especially when Aurora wants them to be. Auroen's hair is on the longer side, and blonde. Though it is more of a darker honeyed blond, nearly bordering on very, very light brown. Being constantly out in the sun has lightened it to a more truly blonde color. Aurora's face is a bit on the angular side though as long as she wears her hair down, whether free or in a braid, it doesn't seem so much. If she wears her hair up then it can make her seem rather austere especially since she seems allergic to smiling. Auroen prefers leggings and long sleeves, as long as she can roll them up. She also prefers boots to anything else, especially since she likes to keep a dagger concealed there. She thinks that skirts and dresses are foolish, and a waste of time and she thinks that going to a gather is a waste of time as well. Unless of course there is something that she needs to buy.
Personality: The most apparent part of Auroen's personality is that she is very independent. She doesn't want to rely on anybody for anything, and she doesn't like to have a debt or rely on someone. Aurora doesn't think that having to do either of those things is smart, she wants to take care of herself. Not to mention Auroen never seems particularly happy she never seems to smile, and in fact if she doesn't look stoically austere then she simply appears troubled. Though the moments of looking troubled are few and far between, and she generally only tends to look that way when nobody else is looking. Though if someone were to ask her what was wrong she would simply shrug it off as nothing. If that person were to persist she would likely get irate and snap. It is rather easy to see why she doesn't make many friends. Even though her people skills are lacking, Auroen is very good at smelling a rat. Though she doesn't seem to trust anybody, except Zionth of course. At least what friends she does have she knows she can trust them. Otherwise Auroen has a very intelligent head on her shoulders, she can think critically when it counts and she doesn't often let emotion color her decisions. Auroen's biggest flaw is that she gets mad rather easily, and that it is very hard for her to make or accept an apology. Though it can vary from situation to situation. Aurora is also very likely to snap or make sarcastic remarks if she isn't in a good mood. One can imagine how thankful some people were that Aurora impressed a blue, instead of a green. With the proddiness Auroen could probably be downright nasty if angered, but fortunately Zionth is the one that cools his rider off. Not to mention brings her the greatest joy. The incredible amount of patience Auroen can have is rather curious compared to her generally volatile nature. At least she shows an extraordinary amount of patience in dealing with any students. Auroen generally lies about her past thinking it shameful, and she finds it even more shameful that it still haunts her. She lies to avoid any pity, and so far none of her past has come to light. Auroen concocted something that sounded perfectly harmless, and perhaps even a little boring. No one's ever questioned her. Aurora rules her emotions, they don't rule her.
History: Auroen was the only daughter of a poor cotholder, a dirt-poor cot holder. She was three when her mother died, and she worked as soon as she could walk. Her father was often drunk and often abusive whether physically or verbally, and it was easy to see why Aurora wasn't particularly sad when he died. Auroen had been twelve turns then, and then she was relocated to the main Hold. She was fostered to some distant relatives on her mother's side. The husband was not much unlike her father, and it didn't help that she often got into trouble with fighting with other girls, but she didn't seem to have an authority problem at least. She always respected those in charge, she just couldn't stand the prissier girls especially when they made fun of her. Everybody was rather shocked when she was searched at fifteen turns and then impressed Blue Zionth. Ever since then her life has revolved around Weyr duties, and not long after she put in for a transfer so she could be someplace where her past wouldn't haunt her. She went to White Sands Weyr to help train the Weyrlings from Jieraynth's clutch, and wound up spending nearly a Turn there, while Great Cliffs Weyr was having its quarantine.

Age: 8 Turns
Dragon Description: Zionth is a dark blue color. It most definitely isn't light, not light at all. It could perhaps be called royal blue. Zionth is larger for a Blue, and was the largest of his Blue clutchmates, almost the size of a small brown. He has a long wingspan so he is wingy, but it doesn't make him look unbalanced. He has more stamina than most blues, and that is partially because he and his rider seem to train outside of what they have to. Like most blues he can flame fast and he would be able to endure an entire fall.
Dragon Personality: Zionth has been the best thing that has ever happened to Auroen, and seems to be the only one that can make her genuinely happy. Just thinking about Zionth makes Auroen happy, but that isn't too surprising. Zionth isn't as impulsive as most blues, but he is quick minded. He often acts on impulse when it comes to people. If it weren’t for Zionth Auroen wouldn't make any friends. The Blue is generally very cheery and makes friends easily, and if they are friends with Zionth then Aurora has a much easier time becoming friends. Zionth makes up for her social inability, and makes her happy. Though Aurora makes Zionth happy as well, Auroen does anything and everything for her dragon. Otherwise Zionth enjoys everything other dragons do, and while other dragons may not respect him, only being a blue, it doesn't bother him. He knows what he is capable of, and is quite proud of it. Which can make him slightly egotistical, in front of his rider only, at times.
