Phew, that History was mind-boggling. D: Had to make a timeline just so I could make sense of it. xD Sorry, not that good at making up pasts.
Name: O’ille (Aul--lee)

Appearance: A woman’s flair for fashion was greatly improved O’ille’s looks from when he was younger. His midnight black hair is slicked to one side with a blue gleam to them, almost like the waves of an ocean. His eyes are a powder blue that are always soft and warm, a great addition to his wide, warm smile. Any remnants of scruff has been shaved cleanly off to the great relief of Rioth. Shades of white, blue and purple usually adorn an average frame hardened from years of dragonriding. But at the height of 5'3", O'ille's buff bod is hardly noticed.
Personality: As empathetic as blueriders get, it’s a wonder that O’ille isn’t gay. He pities even the shaved, steamed tuber that sits on his dinner plate every day. It isn’t uncommon to find him in tears, whether from laughter or depression. However he still manages to be friendly and approachable to almost everyone, earning him a vast multitude of friends. In fact, O’ille is a staunch supporter of women’s rights and will willingly give an earful to whoever gives him the chance.
Optimism comes easily to this bluerider and when combined his pacifist nature, O’ille is simply a wuss. He’s still fiercely loyal and would give his life for the good of Pern, but at the same time would never hurt or take the life of another. This does stick him between a rock and a hard place, but O’ille tries not to bother himself with it and focuses on fighting Thread.

O’ille was born to the Headwoman of a lesser Hold in the Northern Continent. He, like many other Pernese, had a large extended family and seemed to never be without a friend. However the stuffy atmosphere of the Hold seemed to suffocate the young lad, especially with discrimination against women the way it was and still is. At the young age of thirteen a now-deceased Searchrider enlisted him to the rank of Candidate. The bluerider who had Searched him instilled a passion into O’ille to become a Searchrider and within six turns Rioth was Impressed and dream was fulfilled.
Of course, when you’re from a Pern-sized family, it’s inevitable that new relatives will pop up sooner or later. And sooner than later, O’ille’s sister, Kiersi, had his first niece, Korijenta about a turn after he Impressed Rioth at turn 16. Thanks to the blue’s betweening, the rider was able to visit his family frequently and formed a close relationship with the girl. When she was old enough O’ille quickly Searched her and brought her to Telgar. Here the two formed a closer bond, one of mentor and apprentice, which matured the bluerider greatly.
With added maturity comes added desire as well. With the flight of Miteril’s green Aolth, noth O’ille and Rioth found a Weyrmate. The two had six blissful years together and two children, Oierre and Matell, before Miteril died in childbirth. The baby was stillborn and O’ille was devastated. If it were not for Rioth, his children and Korijenta, he might not have made it through the difficult time.
Recently X’cer caught Yalle’s gold and O’ille was persuaded to take the opportunity to transfer to Great Cliffs Weyr, losing his status of Searchrider and valuable time with his children. It’s still a touchy subject for the bluerider, but with the recent death of his Weyrmate, he needs to get away from Telgar and clear his head. Who knows, maybe he’ll even start a new life.
Rioth
Age: 20 Turns
Appearance: A froathy foam blue tops the rich ultramarine hide of Rioth, spilling over his spine ridges and lapping the edges of the underside of the blue’s shorter-than average wings. Perhaps if he was a little smaller or bigger he might stand out from others, but at average size and speed he’s happy to remain in the background and follow orders.
Personality: Rioth is an average happy-go-lucky blue with a tendency to tease, especially his rider. He’s more likely than most to bespeak others beside his just to watch the bemused look on the pink thing's faces. When not poking fun, Rioth also enjoys taking long, relaxing swims and Chasing greens.
