Okay, just stay collected. There is no reason that any of these people should know too much about the situation. I just hope they will be willing to overlook a few...details... It was an accident R'dan-mine. Everyone agrees. Well not everyone. And it was no accident I blew his sharding face in. To everyone important it was an accident. No one cares about a not-Mine like that anyway. That is what I'm counting on.
That was the conversation that took place between rider and dragon as R'dan took his first steps through the caverns of Great Cliffs. His rather sudden departure from Telgar Weyr regarding an unfortunate incident during a tavern fight had left him somewhat apprehensive as to whether he would be welcomed here or not, but considering the great relationship between this Weyr and White Sands, the Weyr of Voraidith's birth, he was not terribly concerned.
The Weyrwoman's office was easy enough to find. He had heard Lady Ampara, though young for a senior Weyrwoman, was wise and level-headed. He hoped she would be reasonable with his request. Even so, he intended to reveal as little information as possible regarding the move, intending to cite difficulties being the son of the Hold bound to the Weyr to which he had, up until now, belonged. After all that /was/ part of the problem....
Pausing before Ampara's door to collect himself, he knocked twice sharply.
The man in front of the door was certainly a fine speciman to behold. He stood a solid six feet tall with broad shoulders, and although his white tunic was cut loosely it could not conceal the power in his chest, arms, and torso. Although all dragonriders were fit by necessity, it was evident this one went above and beyond to maintain physical prowess. More fitted black pants suggested proportionately strong thighs and calves. The white tunic set well against bronzed skin and curly black hair, while cautiously confident brown eyes gazed out from an undeniably handsome, though slightly unshaven face.
((basically he's really hot. LOL!))
